Jakarta. National Galery of Indonesia (Galeri Nasional), The Ministry of Education and Culture in coorperation with Goethe-Institut Indonesia, German Embassy in Indonesia, Arsasri Djojohadikusumo Foundation, Erasmus Huis, Djarum Foundation, Taut Seni Foundation, Galeri Foto Jurnalistik Antara (GFJA), and University of Paramadina organized Pameran Aku Diponegoro: Sang Pangeran dalam Ingatan Bangsa, dari Raden Saleh hingga kini. The opening ceremony was held on February 5th 2015 in Building A, Galeri Nasional Indonesia, East Medan Merdeka street No.14, Central Jakarta.

The exhibition was opened with a speech from Tubagus Andre Sukmana, the Head of Galeri Nasional Indonesia, a speech from Heinrich Blmeke, the Director of Goethe Institute, H.E Dr Georg Witschel, the Ambassador of Federal Republic of German, and a speech from Anies Baswedan, the Ministry of Education and Culture.

The Diponegoros war was one of an important post in Indonesia. Today, we see the effort to reviving our awareness about the Pangeran Diponegoro, said Anies Baswedan on his speech.

The exhibition, Aku Pangeran Diponegoro: Sang Pangeran dalam Ingatan Bangsa, dari Raden Saleh hingga Kini was held on February 6th March 8th 2015. Some art works and other installation about Pangeran Diponegoro was shown, one of them is a masterpiece painting from Raden Saleh entitled Penangkapan Pangeran Diponegoro that had been restored.
