Jakarta, August 24, 2014. With regard to the Taman Mini Indonesia Indah duty, educating people through art and culture, a Parade Tari Nusantara (Nusantara dance parade) was conducted. The event has been conducted since 1981. It displays varied traditional dance performances from across Indonesia.
There are 33 participants (33 provinces) who have been selected by adjudicators in each province, and the best performers will be the delegation of their provinces to participate in the festival. People flooded the spot, they eager to watch and know traditional dance performances. Many of them brought their children. One of the visitors from Bogor, Fajar, said I come this far away to see the dances, as it was said that the last year event was merry.
The dance show was started at 09.00 to 16.00; all participants demonstrated their expertness in performing traditional dance from their regions. All performers were assessed by adjudicators to get the best 13 to be rewarded with cup, medal and money.
