Museum of Borobudur is a museum that is built by the Indonesia Government in 2000 as another object for the visitor of Borobudur Temple in Magelang, Central Java. As a tourism destination, Borobudur Museum has a lot of historic collections about Borobudur Temple.
Some collections in Borobudur Museum are the ruins of Borobudur’s first restoration by the Netherlands, Catra or the top of Borobudur Temple, some of perfect and imperfect Buddha statues, Javanese Gamelan, and another collections. Another historical collections are Borobudur’s archive, such as the history of Borobudur Temple, the temple restoration process, and the history of Borobudur’s bombing in 1985.
