Jakarta In order to welcome the Nyepi Day Saka New Year 1937, the Hindus in Jakarta did Caru Tawur Kesanga or also known as Ogoh-ogoh parade. Caru Tawur Kesanga in Jakarta was concentrated in Monumen Nasional (Monas) which attended by thousands of Hindus from various temples in around Jakarta (Jabodetabek). The ceremony which held on March 20th 2015 also enlivened by Betawis art and it was also opened public.

According to Ida Bagus Yudi, the Committee Head of 2015 Caru Tawur Kesanga, this year Caru Tawur Kesanga had a Penyucian Diri untuk Peningkatan Kualitas Kerja theme which means ablution, both remark and daily activities for better work quality.

Ogoh-ogoh Festival theme this year is a contemplation to start a better life, such as remark, daily activities, and behavior to increase our work quality, said Ida Bagus Yudi.

The ceremony that opened by the Vice Governor Jakarta, Djarot Saiful Hidayat started from 10.00 WIB until 17.00 WIB. The ceremony began with prayed together until 12.00 pm WIB and continued with the opening ceremony of parade and festival by the Vice Governor of Jakarta, then continued with the Ogoh-ogoh parade from various temples in Jabetabek. At the end of the parade, the Ogoh-ogoh will carry back to the temples for burnt.
